What the notes add
- SteamVR on Meta Quest 3 and 3S from the standard APK, with experimental Quest 2 support.
- XR glasses for VITURE, RayNeo, and XREAL, plus a Cardboard VR mode.
- Epic's Linux launcher under FEX, and an optional x86-64 Steam client.
- Linux games under FEX, a Storage page, and GPU driver modes.
- A flicker fix for Adreno 740 devices, with the AYN Odin 2 Portal and AYN Thor named in the notes.
What did not change
The GPU sentence is still Android 9 or newer, Adreno 730 or newer or Adreno 8xx, experimental Adreno 6xx, and unsupported Mali, Xclipse, PowerVR, and Adreno 710. Hardware validation remains limited.
Child processes
On Android 14 and newer, turn on Disable child process restrictions in Developer options before Steam starts. On Android 12 and 13, if that option is missing, the first Steam launch offers Fix it for me. Release 0.4.0 told people to turn Restrict child processes off. Follow the sentence for the build you installed.
